Dropping off the bikes
Please note that at The Bike Migration, we make use of specially designed cardboard boxes in order to transport the bikes. When dropping off your bike, we will unclip the front wheel of the bike, and then place the bike, together with the wheel, in the box. We will cover the de-attached wheel in bubble wrap so as to ensure that no damage is suffered by the wheel or the bike.
When dropping off the bike, all devices which are not permanently fastened to the bike, such as speedometers, cadence meters, heart rate monitors, water bottles, etc. can also be placed inside the box so as to ensure that none of our cyclists lose any of their expensive equipment.
At The Bike Migration we realise the value and costs associated with bicycles, and we guarantee that we will take care of your bike as if it were our own.
Ownership of the bike always rests with the cyclist, and is never transferred to The Bike Migration during transportation of the bike.
The Bike Migration retains ownership over all material used in order to transport the bike, such as the cardboard boxes, strapping material, identification stickers, etc.
